Steal A Baddie Egg: Stealing & DNA Copies

Prerequisites
Familiarity with egg heists
Checked

Steal Baddie DNA creates an egg copy, and the owner keeps the original Baddie. That paid feature is different from carrying an egg through a contested area.

The word "stealing" in Steal A Baddie Egg refers to two completely separate game systems: physical egg heists in open nest zones, and the developer product called Steal Baddie DNA. Confusing the two causes unnecessary panic about losing placed characters.

DNA Cloning Architecture vs Physical Theft Duplication, Not Deletion
ORIGINAL OWNER PRESERVED
Original Remains on Stand
The target player keeps their character on their display stand. Their passive Cash ($/s) continues ticking uninterrupted without loss.
PURCHASER RECEIVES DUPLICATE
New Duplicate Egg Generated
A cloned egg matching the Baddie is added to your inventory. You carry it to your own base pen to hatch an identical copy.

Which Kind of Stealing Is This?

Action Type Target Object Outcome Key Rule
Physical Nest Heist Wild Egg / Base Egg You carry a physical egg back to your pen Carried eggs drop if you are tagged or killed
Steal Baddie DNA Placed Baddie Character You receive a clone egg of that Baddie The original owner keeps their character

Carrying an egg back to your base is an open-world mechanic involving physics, movement penalties, and risk of loss. In contrast, Steal Baddie DNA is an in-game cloning feature that does not destroy or remove the target player's character.

What the DNA Purchase Creates

Official developer product descriptions for all DNA tiers state:

"Create an egg copy of this baddie. The owner keeps their original."

When you trigger DNA cloning on a displayed Baddie:

  1. The game samples the target Baddie's entity data.
  2. A duplicate egg of that specific Baddie is placed into your inventory.
  3. The original player's Baddie remains firmly on their stand, earning Cash as normal.
  4. You return to your base to incubate and hatch your newly cloned egg.

DNA tiers range from Common to Divine, corresponding to the rarity of the Baddie you are copying.

Check Before Confirming

Before spending Robux or currency on DNA cloning, verify:

  • Target identity: Make sure you are interacting with the desired Baddie and not an adjacent common stand.
  • Rarity tier: Confirm the DNA tier matches the target character's rarity.
  • Pen capacity: Ensure your base has open pen capacity to hatch the resulting clone egg.
  • Original owner status: Confirm you understand this is a duplication feature, not a competitive deletion tool.

Where Does the Copy Go Next?

Once your DNA clone egg is created, take it directly to your base pen. The egg follows the normal incubation and placement cycle. Once hatched, the clone Baddie begins generating passive Cash per second on your own stands.
